Our Osteria in the village

CARATO Osteria is located on the main street of Mensano and carries on the tradition of the warm and welcoming Tuscan family trattoria. Today, as in the past, our Osteria is a point of reference for local guests and visitors to the area, with a renewed yet always authentic culinary offering and beautifully cared-for spaces.

Mensano, a gem in the Val d’Elsa

Mensano is a small village set on a hill overlooking the countryside of Casole d’Elsa. Two medieval churches of remarkable architectural importance, stone-paved lanes winding between brick and stone houses, and well-kept gardens and terraces. All around, as far as the eye can see, vineyards, olive groves, woods, and rolling hills. A little world waiting to be rediscovered.
