Wine cellar and local products
With spaces dedicated to tasting and shopping, CARATO Bottega is home to precious things: local products and wines. All are also available for shipping in Italy and abroad. Our wine cellar, carefully curated by Gionni Bonistalli, features wines from the local area, Tuscan and Italian excellences, and a refined selection of Champagne labels. A wide-ranging collection of niche producers, renowned historic estates, and emerging names.
The treasures of our estate
At our nearby estate, just a few kilometres from Mensano, Podere Tesoro farm lovingly tends vineyards and olive groves, creating products that reflect the true essence of this celebrated region. In the Bottega, we proudly present our full range of wines, extra virgin olive oil, and a rare speciality, our balsamic vinegar, all produced by us.
Discovering wine
The Bottega becomes a true tasting room in the cellar area. Here, we wish to celebrate and share the art of wine. An intimate and inviting space to discover and learn.
Guided by Gionni Bonistalli, wine merchant and professional sommelier, we have created unique experiences: private tastings, events with producers, pairing dinners, and we are always happy to help you choose the perfect bottle for every occasion.
From the land to the glass and to your table
The labels we have selected are served at the table in the Osteria, for aperitivo on the Terrace, and during special events, but they are also ideal as gifts, and for those who wish to take home more than a simple souvenir by discovering unique traditions and productions.
